I am 21 years old. Mother of two boy, divorced. Because my ex husband has a stable life my boys are with him. Though that is a joint decision he makes my life hell and refuses to let me see them for more than 1 or 2 times every two or three months. I have missed birthday and holidays because his family no longer likes me. I dont do drugs i do not drink on a regular basis. I am a felon because we had food stamps when we were married. I was a stay at home mother and i had to fill out the paper work about his information. I mixed up the information and was charged with food stamp fraud, and now have to pay 2500 dollars back to the state of texas. Not only do i have that and not allowed to see my family. I find out more and more about how he cheated on me and had relationships with women and one women the entire 2 years of marraige. Growing up i had a drug addicted alcoholic mother and i was a teen pregnancy. I can't seem to find a job because of the felony and I have absolutely no family within 1500 miles. and even the family that far away i dont know where they are and because of the family history we no longer speak. Grated that is my choice but the fact still lies that I am a 21 yr old unemployeed mother of two beautiful boys who was cheated and used and destroyed in a marriage and it still hurts me. I have never had a stable family I have been homeless several times. Currently I am renting a room from my boyfreinds aunt. And I care about him and he tries to help me. But nothing seems to break my bond to wanting my family. I miss my children, i miss my life, ive been hurt and used and any trust completely abused. Cant find a job I have child support to pay, restitution to the state to pay rent to pay and phone bill though many believe phone is not important. but the phone calls to my boys are the most important things in my life right now. And I have no money and i seem to have breakdowns alot lately. I have been through alot in my short life so far. And i need to find help.    Can anyone help me?

Iam just wondering if anybody out there is receiving unemployment, if so do you know how long you have as a terminated employee to file for unemployment. I was terminated in june of 2009.I was living off of my 401k all this time while looking for a job.however now it has ran out can I still file. Please someone help me thanks,  DIMPLES50

I am a 51 year old business man.  Three years ago I was downsized from the company I worked for for 23 years.  During that time I lost all my savings and my home.  I eventually found work, but was recently downsized again.  I have over 100 resumes out, but am not having any luck finding work.  By mid November I will be out of money.  I need help!  I would gladly agree to pay the money back, but have no idea how quickly I can do that.  I need to support my wife and two kids.  If I don't find someone to help, we will be out of money and out of options.  My parents have passed away as have my wife's.  I have no one to turn to.  Is there anyone out there that could help?  Does anyone know of a state agency that could help (I live in Minnesota)?  A federal agency?  I'm looking for any help I can get. 

In Feb I lost my job...major layoffs from my company.  I have since been turned down for unemployment and have NO money in the bank. I have two children and I have not even been able to buy them school cloths for this year. 

I have went through basically everything I have financially and have even borrowed more then I can say from family members.

I apply for every job in my field and then some not in my field.  I am desperate for work.  I have even applied for emergency aid from the state of MI and they gave me food stamps but unfortunately at this time no help with the rent.  My landlord is awesome and because I have two kids he has not evicted me.  However, he cant live on nothing either so im getting deeper and deeper in doubt of whats to become of us. 

I am not asking for more then I need.  And I am so trying to find a job any job, but the economy in MI is scarry right now and anything in my field is few and far between.  I am even going to job interviews that are 1hr and 30min one way from where I am staying right now.  I dont care of the drive as long as I get income.

 What is a family to do that cant get any help?  Who do we turn to?  I cant be homeless, I have children.  Im scared and dont know were to turn.

Does anyone have any options for a single father?  Anything at all??  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I am not sure where to start..

I am 19 years old and currently 8 months pregnant with my first child which will be a little boy I am unmarried and the father of my child is my ex-roommate and my best friend, we haven't spoken in many weeks and it's unknown wheather or not he will be there to help with the raising of his son.. Due to resently getting into a car accident and getting in some trouble with the law I lost my job and moved back in with my father which is a good thing because it has kept me on track and is also helping him out as well. My father is a leagally married howvere is a single parent to my 11 years old brother, My mother is Disabled, a brittel diabetic and is very sick living in a nursing home she is 2 years younger than my father whom is 45 years old.
My father stopped working for construction almost 3 years ago in duing so his income has dramaticly fallen he is now a Cab driiver and makes less than half of what he used to make I wish that I could help him out in this time of need however I am unable to due to being unemployeed and pregnant..Our home we are living in is going into forcloser and my father has no way to pay for all the bills pilled up since my mother absence and he has choosen to not pay for a morgage he can no longer afford we have not gotten a notice to move as of yet howvere I am exspecting it very soon....

I am living in florida and have been my whole life I am in despret need of a job as well as finacial assistance  I am currently getting food stamps and my brother and myself have medicaid although it helps it is still not helping enough I would like some help on finding the right sites for finacial assistance that would be helpful for myself and my family..As well as any sitesin the matter so that I mayfind a sutible job for myself after the birth of my son..

My husband and I are going to lose our home. We have 4 children and one (the last) on the way.

We used to live in a nice house with a hottub and pool and even a SubZero refrigderator until my husband lost his job 2 years ago. We had no money and lost our home a few months afterwards in late 2005. We were homeless for about 18 months living with family temporally until my husband found a steady decent paying job  in early 2007. We saved up and finally got an apartment. We moved in our first home in 18 months on August of 2007. 

 In February 2008 my husband left that job for a better oportunity and that fell apart because they found out he didn't have his GED yet. He tried to go back to the other job but they wouldnt let him back for tha same reason. So he went jobless until his birthday in May. In August 2008 that job laid him off. He went on unemployment and is still unemployeed, but it isnt enough with all the bills and rent and gas etc. We fell behind and currently are about 2 months behind (Nov and Dec rent ) With no money and collections agency's calling and wantiing money all the time. Is there any hope? We live in CT. We are not used to dealing with this and do not want to be homeless again with 4 kids and me pregnant. Any advice is welcome.

Hi, I am a single Mom of 2 Daugther's. I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old. I am currently unemployeed becuase as per my 1 year old's condition. My Baby  just had heart surgery. My home was just condemned by the Health Department and  I have 10 days to find a new home (because there is mold and mushrooms growing in my home). I am NOT living in any State funded or Goverment housing.  I am living on a very limited income I live on Child support payments $500 per month. I  have been attempting to get help for over 3 month and have been getting rejected.  It is very frustrating because I have never asked for help before (always had a good job) and I really really need help but I cannot get help. I don't know what to do.

HELLO, DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYBODY OR ANY PROGRAMS THAT HELP PAY MORTGAGE IF YOUR BEHIND AND ABOUT TO GO INTO FORECLOSURE?  I HAVE BEEN ON MANY WEBSITES LOOKING FOR HELP FROM PROGRAMS SUCH AS THIS, BUT CANNOT FIND ONE.  I AM COLLECTING UMPLOYMENT AND TRYING TO TAKE MY HUSBAND TO COURT TO GET SOME FINANCIAL RELIEF TO NO AVAIL RIGHT NOW.   IF YOU CAN HELP OR KNOW A GRANT PROGRAM THAT CAN HELP, PLS EMAIL ME.  THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!
